I am a dedicated art educator and maker with a love for all things tactile and materials-based. I believe strongly in providing students with engaging and age-appropriate art experiences where materials, techniques, and concepts are relevant and meaningful.  I have taught drawing, collage, construction, ceramics, painting, printmaking, and stop-motion animation, and I take great delight in creating an environment where my students bring their own unique experiences to every project we cover together. I believe that the visual arts enable children to find and share their own unique voice, and I love that my job as an art teacher is to help them do that.

I’m from NYC but now live in Westchester with my husband and three boys and our two dogs. I teach at an independent school in Manhattan. When I am not working on the essentials I can be found on a tennis court. I used to ride horses.
